I like fall for many reasons but the number one reason is the temperature. I like how it’s not to hot or cold but the rain makes it even better. I enjoy the rain because there are so many things you can do in it. The rain is fun to play in and for some reason I like rainy days. Some times I just sit there and listen to it. Once I put a cup out and got fresh rain water. Another thing I like to do in the fall is get fresh apple cider and pick pumpkins. I like Halloween because my family makes a haunted house in the garage and all my friends come over and we scare people. We don’t trick or treat because our garage is not scary without us. The day before Halloween we have a party at my house and discuss the rules of the haunted house. During the party we serve apple cider and donuts. The three days before Halloween we get the house and garage decorated. I would have to say that this is the best part. I am allowed to put the decorations were I want them. I make it really scary every year and we actually scare older people then younger people. It takes a long time to set up but when were done it is worth it. We put lots of decorations and other things to make it look scarier. My favorites are the strobe light and the fog machine. We also lay a skeleton in the yard and since fall is so dark he looks scary. Halloween is always the perfect temperature because the colder it is the scarier it gets. I think fall is a great time of year and when you combine that with all the fun things you can do in my mind it would have to be one of my favorite months of the year.
